I'm Joyce, and I've been writing since I could hold a #2 pencil. I’ve been
on a life-long quest for truth and joy. I write inner journey travelogue on
many topics in several genres. This site is the crossroads where all my

Chironic Visions
In my career as an astrologer, I discovered a mythical being who is my
mentor. His name is Chiron, the wise centaur and healer in Greek
mythology who groomed heroes you've heard of like Jason and Hercules.

universal symbol that lives in me—and this web site takes after him.
It's eclectic and designed to bring out the hero in you. If laughter heals,
that's just one of the tools in a big medicine bag you'll find here to help
you dissolve the roadblocks to being all you can be.
Genres and Topics
I am an“eclectic Chironic” writing what I call M-in-M's--memoir,
inspiration, and mystery. But I sharpened my pencil in my twenties
writing poetry. Those are my main genres, but my topic list on the
navigation bar reflects the most important thing you should know. I
play the symbols.
Symbols, Vision and Laughter
Whether it’s astrology, tarot, a graffiti message in the bathroom stall,
the meaningful coincidences called synchronicity—or just plain inklings—
I have a knack for seeing the symbolic and how it connects us to Spirit
and each other.
If you hang out on these pages, it's bound to alter your vision.
More than anything, I hope you leave lighter. I write about a lot of
deep subjects, but I think you’ll find plenty of comic relief … and
“carbonated holiness.” That’s what Anne Lamott, a memoir writer
I admire, calls laughter.
