Poetry Plays the Symbols, Too
It makes sense that poetry is the genre where I was first
published. It's full of symbolism. Similes, metaphors--allusions.
They are writing tools for recording the deeper meanings in life
and the personal-to-collective interface of our individual growth
experiences.
After a three-decade hiatus from poetry, I'm back! I am grateful that
most of my poems are timeless, and that new poems are emerging.
